The 2022 Newtown Odyssey workshop on Newtown Creek consisted of 2 scenes from the full opera: Scene 1 - The Tour Guides, and Scene 6 - The Creek Being. Also included was an “overture” for solo traveling French horn and electronics, and a Sonic Path connecting the locations for the two scenes which audiences traveled along.

Marie Lorenz navigated her boat offshore floating instruments and transported singer Charlotte Mundy from Scene 1 to Scene 6. Singer/French horn player Kyra Sims performed onshore with Charlotte Mundy in Scene 1. Percussionist Joshua Perry played percussion in both Scenes 1 & 6. Kurt Rohde operated electronics throughout.
